Re-Refined Oil

Oil doesn’t wear out…it just gets dirty. Used motor oil can be RE-REFINED into new oil that is just AS GOOD AS NEW. 

Re-refined oil is one of the end products from the used oil recycling process. Contaminants such as dirt, water, fuel, and additives are removed from used oil through vacuum distillation. Then the oil is hydro-treated to remove any remaining chemicals and impurities. The end result is base stock oil, which is then re-blended with fresh additives. This process is very similar to the original refining process.
 

      • FACT: Oil can be re-refined and used over and over again.
         
      • FACT: Re-refined oil meets the same American Petroleum Institute (API) standards as virgin products.
      • FACT: If more people used re-refined oil and less virgin oil, we could reduce our dependence on foreign sources of oil.
